Conference Recap: 8th Annual Schizophrenia Symposium

This has been a great month of June for Mindsigns Health™. Following our pitch in New Orleans, our team was invited to showcase our products at the 8th Annual Schizophrenia Symposium at Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore. The symposium is unique in that attendance, by invitation only, includes patients and care givers as well as providers and researchers. Over 350 people attended the one day event.

The Mindsigns Health™ team met with patients, caregivers, and clinical providers. Talking with patients and caregivers was not only humbling but at the same time incredibly powerful as they shared the challenges they face aside from the therapeutic angle. We are incredibly grateful to them for sharing their experiences with us. It also highlighted that the platform we build is relevant in mitigating some of these challenges and the relevance of our solutions as we continue to develop these with both patients and providers.

Conversations like these are a reminder of why we do what we do. We left feeling energized and more committed than ever to continue this journey toward improving mental health care!

Special thanks to Akira Sawa, Yukiko Lema and the team for inviting us and putting together such a great event.
