After our showcases for Mindsigns Health™ in New Orleans and Baltimore, we attended the Society for Digital Mental Health, SDMH, conference as we got back to home base in Arizona. Because it is a virtual conference it brings together an international community of individuals involved in mental health and presents very relevant panels over the two day event.
Given the virtual nature of the conference it was a great way to reach a larger audience.
As a startup, we are careful to attend events that are relevant for us as a company to not only develop leads but also get feedback from stakeholders and understand the trends of the markets we operate in or are looking to enter. The SDMH conference ticked all these boxes and we decided to sign on as a Gold Level exhibitor and presenter which gave us the opportunity to answer insightful questions from attendees.
Throughout the conference, we were able to connect with clinicians, researchers, and academics. After being on the road the past two weeks, it was fantastic to see a global crowd coming together in the virtual space with a similar goal: to make a positive change in digital mental health.
This was our first year at SDMH and we plan to certainly be there next year.
A huge thank you to Lisa Palko, Stephen Schueller and César Escobar-Viera (he/him) for having us. We’re excited for what lies ahead for Mindsigns Health™ and the future of mental healthcare!
